Kiyotaka Ishimaru
Kiyotaka Ishimaru is the Ultimate Prefect and throughout the game, he sets up rules for the students to follow and had constant arguments with the rebellious Mondo Owada. Ishimaru believes in values above anything else and is obsessed with studying and proper conduct. His obsession leads him to struggle to have a "normal" conversation and having any friends. After a challenge in the sauna, Ishimaru becomes extremely close with Mondo and during the trial, he helps Mondo in one of the mini-games and at the end of the trial, he even votes for himself instead of Mondo, even though Mondo had admitted that he has killed Chihiro. Ishimaru broke into tears and kept asking Mondo why he killed Chihiro, even after being told why. After the upsetting farewell, Ishimaru is seen to still be crying after the execution and even traumatized him. He remains mute throughout most of the third chapter but when Alter Ego is shown to everyone, he grabs the computer and wants to beg Chihiro for forgiveness on Mondo's behalf. Alter Ego tries to help and console Ishimaru by changing into a Mondo face and voice. He is "reborn" as Kiyondo, a merging of "souls" between Mondo and Ishimaru and he becomes overprotective of Alter Ego, which leads to conflict between him and Hifumi, which leads to his death.
