Kyoko Kirigiri
Kyoko Kirigiri is the main heroine of this game but is considered more "manly" and "tougher" than the main character. In the beginning, she was a very mysterious, stoic girl that kept to herself. She gets very close to Makoto after the first murder and often helps Makoto with the investigation and during the trial. Throughout most of the game, her special talent is not revealed as she suffered amnesia but near the end, it is revealed that she was the Principal's daughter and that she was the Ultimate Detective. She is one of the survivors at the end of the game but in the Bad Ending, she is executed and the rest of the survivors remain trapped within the Academy, having children of their own. In the good/true ending, she also joins the Future Foundation and makes an appearance in the second game as she helps Makoto with the survivors.
